First class 🆚 Business class on Emirates: 💎 First Class passengers can take a shower at 40,000 feet. Business Class passengers can’t. 💎 Both cabins serve champagne, but First Class gets Dom Pérignon, while Business Class is served a different premium champagne. 💎 Unlimited caviar is included in First Class. If you finish your serving, you can ask for more. 💎 The biggest difference is the privacy. In First Class, you can close your suite doors and have your own private space. 💎 The bathrooms: Business has a nice lavatory. First has a spa-like bathroom with a shower, heated floors, luxury toiletries, and a dedicated crew member who prepares it for you. 🙌🏼 One thing they have in common: both can visit the famous onboard bar! Instead of paying $7,000 to fly Emirates First Class, I paid $104 in taxes + 102,000 credit card points ✈️ If you follow my tips, luxury travel doesn’t have to come with a luxury price tag 🏷️ Follow @journeyonpoints to learn how to turn your everyday spending into experiences like this.

Delta peaked with this card! 💳 They really made a credit card out of a retired Boeing 747.. 🤯 Every card tells you which plane it came from, including its tail number, how many miles it flew, and its first and last flight. I still think this is one of the coolest credit cards ever made. #deltaairlines

Have you ever been treated differently because you booked your flight with points? At check in, I asked the Gate agent how was the upgrade situation. I have Platinum Pro status, and I’m eligible for complimentary upgrade to the next class of service. He said American Airlines was basically giving me the ticket for free. He told me I should be thankful American Airlines was letting me fly for just $5.60. He didn’t even answer my question and didn’t recognize my status (and the benefits). Paying $5.60 in cash doesn’t mean my flight was free. It means I chose to pay with something else that had value. Most people don’t realize how valuable credit card points really are. I’ll never apologize for taking advantage of this to fly smarter.. and you shouldn’t either!
