Pack with me for a hike and bivvy stay on Mont Buet I’m heading to Chamonix in a few weeks for the Arc’teryx Alpine Academy, and this will be my first overnight mountain adventure in the Alps. We’re expecting hot days, cold nights, and plenty of sun exposure, so I’m packing a mix of layers along with lots of sun protection. I don’t own a tent (yet), so I’ll be renting one from a shop in Chamonix before we head out. This will also be my first time sleeping in a bivvy, so let me know if I’ve forgotten anything 👀 Literally cannot wait to see that alpine sunrise! #packing #asmr #travel #arcteryx #hikinggear

Pack with me for a hike in Gunma prefecture, Japan. The hike we’re doing is Tanigawa Dake. One of Japan’s famous 100 mountains at 1,977m with a very steep and rocky climb. Forecast is heavy rain so the dry bag with spare (dry!) clothes is going to be key, because my pack isn’t waterproof! Even though it’s going to rain, it will be hot during the hike and cold towards the summit. Already looking forward to the onsen after 💦 #packing #asmr #hiking #japan #travel #gearreview #gorpcore #hikingoutfits #adventuregear #arcteryx #japanitinerary #adventuretravel #hikinggear

Mountain, onigiri, onsen repeat! Escaped Tokyo for a few days to explore the Japanese Alps with my bestie! One thing I love about Japan is how accessible the countryside is. In a few hours suddenly you’re surrounded by alpine towns, mountains and onsens. We explored around Kamikōchi and the Northern Alps area, and honestly this place looks like a freaking postcard! A reminder that Japan is so much more than Tokyo, Kyoto and Osaka 🫶🏻 #Japan #travel #hiking #adventureisoutthere
